New Canon EOS 1000D

Canon presents the new entry level reflex. Eos 1000D will replace the actual 400D, and introduce some tecnologies like "Live View" mode, DIGIC III processor, normaly used in the top level Digital SLR Cameras. Like the 400D it has got a 10.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor.

The EOS 1000D features a high-speed, wide area 7-point autofocus system. It can focus using One-Shot AF mode, AI Focus AF, AI Servo AF and Manual. The center, cross-type focus point operates flawlessly in lower-light and lower-contrast settings.

In Live View Function, the EOS 1000D can focus manually and you can view using the 2,5” LDC Display, with 5x or 10x magnification for focusing clarity.

Like the 400D it has got an "Integrated Cleaning System". Dust that settles on the sensor surface is removed using ultrasonic vibration. This Self Cleaning Sensor Unit routine is automatically activated whenever the camera is powered on or off. (It can also be manually activated.) A special collar positioned around the sensor collects the loosened dust.

iPhone 3G in Italy: The great disappointment

The release of iPhone 3G in Italy is the most happening of the last days for many people. Even thoug you can buy it from US, and you can use it in Italy for a long time (thanks ZiPhone), for many people to buy it in the market near them house was important, but this let me down!
The capability of the device are very interesting for the very large landscape of funcionality, for the "Installer" where you can find software developed by other, for the performance.
I think that it's among the best in the market, but I don't understand why it costs 199$ in US, and with AT&T you can have a flat plan at 35$ instead in Italy the price is 499€ and there aren't flat plans to navigate whenever you want. In this way you can't take full advantage of the device.

I have a big question for you and for the italian telecommunications companies: "Why in Italy there aren't flat plans for data traffic??"

I hoped that the release of iphone could help us, but that was not the reality!

My holiday in Santorini

I spent a week's holiday in Santorini (Greece). It is a beautiful island for its landscapes and its nightlife.

I recommend you visit the villages of Oia for a unic sunset and landscape.

To spend a day at sea you can choose between Perivolos (very lively with many Discobar) or Kamari (more quite).

However you need to spend all your nights to Fira.
